Pigeon Falls after the wind Posted by Picasa

Thursday 30J

Saying for the day:Most people spend more time and energy going around problems than in trying to solve them.Henry Ford
Well last night was rough with a lot of leekage from the breathing mask.Betty finished the cabinet last night while I took my breathing treatment.Early this morning, while I was on the Webcam I finished the church web page for July and got that placed on line. This morning we worked on the waterfall again and then finished the restaurant. Decided people needed some stairs to get to the restaurant so we designed and built them. Then Betty watered her plants and I began putting together the next cabinet. Got everything done but the door.We went to Iron River to get prescriptions filled at Snyder's.Coming back the wind was just terrible . In fact it really hit Pigeon Falls hard. The Town Hall, local tavern, post office, Masonic building, and Lutheran parsnage were all blown over.Have to get the repair crew out tomorrow and see what we can do.The man came and cut the grass-found out that he's Roger Stoor's son-in-law.Got a note from some lady who saw the church web page and the pictures from Pastor Doug's wedding and thanked us for being so fast. The web page is at - www.undlutheran.com .Dawn called and said they rent powered wheel chairs at Greater America. So it sounds like our trip is on. Got to call and find out how tall my two tallest grandkids are to see if they still get children's tickets, because I can get the adult tickets discounted on line..Wel I need a breathing treatment.

Saying for the day:It is better to know some of the questions than all of the answers.James Thurber
A pretty good night except I took my water pill in the evening and it ment a lot more wake ups. In the morning I worked on the restaurant and started another cabinet. Betty went to Tops. When she came home we did some work on the waterfall and then put a door on the restaurant which is almost finished except for the roof. Then Betty planted flowers while I worked on a base for the restaurant. By the time Betty finished planting we were way off schedule. We started work again on the cabinet which had some holes that were't drilled so we had to drill them. We finnaly got the frame together but left the door off until tomorrow. Got a telephone call from Dawn and found out you can rent powered wheel chairs at Greater America. Dawn had a good time there. There is a picture of Paul at Greater Amereica on our web page-www.familylinna.com-.By the time I got to the computer room there was a note from Christine asking why no webcam at 6:00 as advertised?
Well I got it on at 6:20. There were also two more Greater America pictures which I will share later. I still didn't finish the church web page but I will tomorrow and its not July. Well I need a breathing treatment.

Two days production Posted by Hello

Tueday 28J

Saying for the Day:) There is no key to happiness. The door is always open.
Had one of those nights-my nose itched and I couldn't scratch it under the breathing mask. In the morning we looked for a coupon Betty lost and then she went to Iron Mountain for a massage. I continued to work on the restaurant and painted the front part. Then I assembled another holding table for the garage. I cut up all the empty cardboard boxes we had lieing around. After lunch Betty took them up to the recycling dumpster that is there only once a month. When she came back we built another cabinet for the garage and we are still talking. We have three more to build. At 4:30 I went to the Church for Pauline's memorial service and Betty went to Iron River to get some medicine from Snyder's . It was good to see that so many people remebered Pauline evn though she had been in a nursing home for such a long time. Coming home I worked on the web page for the Church-should be able to finish the July edition tomorrow. Well its time for a breathing treatment.

Saying for the day:The only way to keep your health is to eat what you don't want, drink what you don't like, and do what you'd rather not. (Mark Twain)
Unbelievable night last night -slept five hours straight and then four more. In the morning we worked on the river and the mountain around it. It still leaks. It was hot and moving rocks is not easy work so we quit at eleven. Then I worked at building a restaurant. We took apart and old MCDonalds plastic building to get things for the restaurant. I think it will look good. Betty was upset because the air conditioner wasn't working -come to find out we forgot we turned it off last night. Our collections order came and after lunch (no steak) we built a small table for the garage and a holder for the transformer. We have four more units to build. UPS came with the schoolhouse kit and Betty started on that while I went and painted the restaurant. It seems so quiet without the boys. Pastor called and wanted me to say a few words at Pauline Preische's funneral. She was one of the finest organists I have ever met, and a trully dedicated Christian.Well I need a breathing treatment.

Saying for the day:You cannot stumble when you are on your knees.
Good night-but got to bed late. In the morning made waffles for the grandsons and Patrick. Then they had to show him how our river worked and of course it didn't. But we jiggled it a bit and then it did. Then they pulled all their junk together and left. Soon after Peter arrived to get the grass cutter , which by some miracle he got into his van. Then he and Bree left. Then Betty and I worked on the cemetary that got hit by a train and on the river. We put foam to hold the rocks in place, followed Pete's advice and drilled a hole in the top holder to run the hose through , sealed it with foam, and reglued the tunnel portal. At that we gave up on the railroad for the day . Betty came in and worked at putting the house back in order after the boys, and I worked at getting the extra computer ready to go to Pennie. I am glad I took the time because there are some great church pictures on that computer thatwern't on the other . I will cut a disk and give them to the church office. Well I need a breathing treatment.

Building a river Posted by Hello

Saturday-25J

Saying for the day:When I turned myself over to God, I took my life out of the hands of an idiot
Very good night last night-got to bed earlier. In the morning we started on the river.First we took the upper tunnel out-after prying it off of the work table to which we had accidently glued it. Then we unpacked the pump and found out the hose we bought for it wouldn't fit so Betty drove down to the hardware store and got some new hose.Thne we put the pump in the pool and began testing. After a long time we got a setup that looked like it would work. We then started to build a mountain around the little pools.Stoped to have lunch and went back to work. At this point Patrick arrived which made his sons very happy. It got too hot to work so the boys, Betty and Pat went out to the lake. I stayed home and worked on the study. I made good progress. When they returned we were going to view the second Harry Potter movie but it was not in its case and we couldn't find it. Well I need a breating treatment.

Up a tree without a ladder! Posted by Hello

Friday 24J

Saying for the dayI know God won't give me anything I can't handle, I just wish He didn't trust me so much. (Mother Teresa)
Good night- and I got to bed earlier but the boys watched Harry Potter until after 10:00. In the morning we discovered that you couldn't glue the tunnel portals to the new tunnel and so we had to bring it in and revise it. This took the entire morning. While Betty and I were working on the tunnel with some help from Alex, the three boys hauled rocks from the car to the train layout. There were a lot of rocks and they did a good job. After lunch the plumber came and we went over our expectations for the bathroom. He said they will take care of everything including painting the room when the rest of the change is finished. Then we went to Iron Mountain to see the movie Herbie. The boys really enjoyed it. I would rather have seen the Star Wars movie but the boys had seen it twice already. Coming back we stopped at the Ranch and had supper. I am still suprised at how well behaved the boys can be, and how they do a better job of picking good food than I do. By the time we got home it was time for them to go to bed and I sat down to write this blog. Well I need a breathing treatment.

Thursday 23J

Saying for the day:All the happiness there is in this world comes from thinking about others, and all the suffering comes from preoccupation with yourself. (Shantideva)
Has a good night though I got to bed late. In the morning we moved a few rocks and then went to Dawn's. I must say that the boys behaved very well for an hours drive. At Dawn's the boys went fishing and caught a lot of bull heads. After lunch they went swiming. Uncle Paul went with them and served as life guard. It was a great day. On our retrurn there was a box from UPS and it contained figures for the outdoor railroad. The company called and our new bathtub is on its way.In the evening we made cotton candy. Betty is really getting pretty good at it, almost as good as Pennie but she uses a different technique. I don't know if we'll get them to sleep tonight with all that spun sugar in them. Well I need a breathing treatment.

Our expert track layer at work Posted by Hello

Wednesday 22J

Saying for the day:A joy shared is twice the joy, a pain shared is half the pain.
Goodnight last night. I've taken to having a cup of tea before bed and it seems to relax me. In the morning I got up early and created a card and a disc for Michael Cooks graduation. After breakfast Caleb and I cleaned up the garage a little then Alex, Elijah, and I built the framework for the upper tunnel-not an easy job. After the framework was done the three boys took turns painting it as there were three colors to apply. Betty made them put on breathing masks. Next we ran the engine that only runs if you load a rock on it, in the back-weird. It did run all the way out and back, however with the rock. The boys took cans back to the grocery store and made $2.00 each in deposit money. Then we went to Iron mountain and ate at the ranch. A wonderful place for such diverse eating patterns. The boys really enjoyed it and chose well , fruit and vegetables as well as other things like macaroni. Then we went to the dollar store which was what they had been waiting for. There they got to spend the $5.00 I gave each of them for working. That buys a lot of junk in $1.00 store. After that we went to Wal-Mart and I got paint while Betty bought stuff for the boys like towels for the beach. Coming home they changed and went to Bewabic Park where they had a wonderful time. I started to clean up my office but I need a bull dozer to really do the work. I did get a little done though. In the morning we go to Dawn and Paul's so the boys can go fishing as well as swiming. Well I need a breathing treatment.

Saying for the day:Most folks are about as happy as they make up their minds to be. (Abe Lincoln)
Good night last night -used the large mask. I made green pancakes for breakfast. the boys loved them. After breakfast we worked on the train layout. The boys hauled track and Elijah installed it like a pro. By the end of the work period we could send a train all the way to the far end of the layout and have it come back. Having the track in place we worked on the river and the mill. I think we just about have it now. The boys came downstairs with me while I looked for some things and they hauled them up. We are now aboult half way through phase two. We cut the big watermellon for desert at lunch. In the afternoon Betty and the boys (Pat's boys) went out to Bewabic to go swiming.I cleaned up in the garage. The man came and took the old queen size bed.

Monday 20J

Saying for the day:An optimist may see a light where there is none, but why must the pessimist always run to blow it out? (Michel de Saint-Pierre)
Fairly good night used large mask.Got up to breakfast with Pennie before she left. Then got the zip drive working and cleared all the zip disks. There were some really good old family pictures on them. I moved them to a cd. After dinner we started on the river part of phase two . It was not going well when Pat and the boys arrived. Then we moved track and Elijah installed it. We brought up a train from the basement and discovered the engine didn't want to move. Pat said the wheels were too smoth. We replaced it with one of Betty's old engines. Pat left for home as he has to work in the morning. I showed Alex how to use the remote control and he ran the train. Elijah's track worked very well . I'll have him install some more in the morning. We came in , had some juice and went grocery shopping. I forgot what it was like to shop with three boys. I am still sane but just barely. Coming home they decided to play cowboy and are shooting in the background. I answered my E-mail and wrote this blog. Now I have to have a breathing treatment.

Saying for the day: Anger is an acid that can do more harm to the vessel in which it is stored than to anything on which it is poured.
Good night last night. Made waffles for breakfast. I wanted to practice before my grandsons come. We didn't get to church and I felt bad but I did read Andrew Greely's homily for today. Peter came about 10:30 and we got the last of the bugs out of the track electrical system. Today it works well. In the afternoon the lady came and got our crib and thats taken care of. We put the old bed on free cycle and it was taken by the end of the day. The lady is coming to get it on Tuesday. We had planned on storing it in the basement but it wouldn't fit through the basement door. Peter and Pennie took it down for us. In the afternoon we played canasta, Betty and I won-that doesn't happen very often. Then Pennie made some more cotton candy and Betty tried to learn how to do it for the grandkids. Peter left around four and I ran the train for an hour or so. It felt good. All the wired switchs are working. Betty and Pennie were going to cut some wood but it was too large and they were afraid so it waits for Paul. It was good to have Peter and his family home for at least a little while. Its good too to have Pennie home.Pat comes in the morning with the boys. We are ready. Well I need a breathing treatment

Saying for the day:If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it. If he had a wallet , your photo would be in it. He sends you flowers every spring. He sends you a sunrise every morning; Face it friend-He is crazy about you!
Very good night last night. It was nice having breakfast with Pennie. She and Betty got the new tunnel out and in place and I got the track through the tunnel installed. Then Peter called from his car and we lit the grill. By the time he arrived with his family I had steak, hamburger, hot dogs, and chicken ready for them it was very good. In the afternoon Pennie and Bree)my grandaughter) took out the next platform and put it in place. Peter buried the electric cable on one end and the track wiring on the other. I got the remote control working, for the old part of the layout.Pennie ,Lori, and the kids went out to the park. When we finished the wiring they all went to Fob's for super but I was too tired. Very good night last night used the small mask again. This morning Betty and I worked at getting the platform done for phase two of the garden railroad. We had lots of trouble. In the afternoon Pennie came home and things got easier and went faster. We finished the next extension of the ramp, the double tunnel, and the ramp platform on which the upper tunnel will be placed. We also tried out the first part of what will be our river. In the morning we will put all of the platforms in place. I took the troops to supper at Fob's for a job well done and then we went grocery shopping. It was good to have Pennie with us because she knew what Pat's boys like to eat and they will be here all next week.Well I have to go for a breathing treatment.

Saying for the Day:* Resentments are like stray cats: if you don't feed them, they'll go away.
Very good night last night. Started working on the church for the model railroad. We finished it and got church, parsonage and bride and groom out. We then worked on the cemetary. Betty added little flowers behind the tombstones. It is ready to be put out in the morning. For lunch I grilled steaks and we had strawberry shortcake for desert-see everything isn't bad. In the afternoon I finished the next section for the ramp and mountain. We will paint that and put it out as soon as it dries.Dawn and Paul came and brought us more rocks which we really needed as we had used every rock we had. Then I ordered a bathtub with a door from Canada and did some online odering for Betty. Saying for the day: Be careful of your character for your character becomes your destiny.
Well the night in the motel went pretty well, so that part of our experiment was a success. In the morning both Betty and I went to the hot tub and it sure felt good. Then we loaded everything into the car. I wish you could have seen Betty standing on the suitcase trolley so she could reach high enough to pull the trunk door down. Our camera was packed away so we couldn't take a picture.
Then went shopping again. This time we went to Jo Anne's Fabrics where Betty spent close to $80 on all kinds of things including two half houses. After that we went to Hobby Land. Here we only bought some tiny paint brushes which Betty had been looking for all over. After that we went to Top Lots and got among other things two bonsai trees for the garden railroad. We then stoped at Peter's to say goodby to the grand kids. On our way North we stopped to eat at the "High Way Restaurant" where we have been stopping since 1984 or so. We discovered that today was the last day for the restaurant. It was being closed down and the building sold. We talked the waitress into giving us a menu to remember it by.A funny thing happened I ordered a waffle and they had only diet syrup and Betty ordered a Turtle. She thought she was getting an ice cream sunday but she got a pancake covered with choclate sauce and wipped cream. Boy
was she suprised. Then we went home and unpacked. Got a e-mail letter from Susan so now we know that the dog in the picture belongs to her and Bob and came from Spain. The young man was Laura's boy friend. Well I have to go take a breathing treatment.

Tuesday 13-J

Saying for the day: Be careful of your habits for your habits become your character;
Got up this morning and started up the computer only to have the power go out.It was out for about fourty minutes. We are going to Green Bay to shop and so there may be no entry tonight.Got an E-mail from Bill Bennet but it was just his telephone number.Betty's sister sent us some pictures without explanation. We don't know who the strange person is with Laura or whose dog is pictured
Well we went to Green Bay and the ride was uneventful. First we went to New Hobby and bought a house for the lay out, some wire to bring power to the track, and a new Garden Railroad magazine.Next we set up at the hotel so I could take a breathing treatment and fixed the bed so I didn't have to lay flat. Then we set up my mask and Ipat. I tell you traveling is an adventure. After all of that we went shopping and spent too much. We got tubing, pieces for our waterfall, 1/8" plywood pieces, a jig saw, some cans of instant foam, and a few other things. Then we went to Peter's. We hadn't told them we were coming because this was primarily a shopping and not a visiting trip .But of course I had to see my Grandkids who seemed very happy to see me. Peter had no car and so he ordered out for supper. To find out what happened to his car you'll have to read his blog. Then we went back to the motel and a breathing treatment.

Riding on main street Pigeon Falls. Posted by Hello

Monday-12J

Saying for the day: Be careful of your actions for your actions become your habits;
I lowered the bed a bit last night and I really hurt when I woke up this morning. We had swedish pancakes for breakfast, which was something different. It produced so much smoke the fire alarm went off until we turned the stove fan on. In the morning we continued to work on little details in Pigeon Falls. WE added a driver on main street and a lady in a car parked by the craft store. We put a gas pump by Ernie's and a man to pump the gas.We add some cars to the lot. We worked on the cemetary and it is ready to go out when we decide where. The Lutheran Church is all painted and the parking lot. We need to decide where it is going. We also finished a road and that needs a location. We started measuring for phase two and discovered our ramp stops 44" short of where it should have stopped,We have to figure out how to fix that. Our tunnel portals came. They look great. I took pictures with the Mavica camera and half of them came out in brown and white like old time pictures. I have no idea what button I pushed to do that. They do look kind of cute. Well I have to go for a breathing treatment .

Betty painting Church. Posted by Hello

Sunday-11J

Saying for the day: Be careful of your words for your words bcome your actions;
We started this morning reviewing the possible actions concerning the bathtub with a door.
I think we will end up ordering the one from Canada. They seem like a nice straight forward, no tricks company and the product looks to be sound. Well we've given ourselves till Tuesday to make a decesion. Then we went to work in the garage.I used patch filler to make a highway and we put it out in the sun to dry.Betty painted the fence for the cemetary and then painted the church thatwill be next to it. We put out Toivo and Ernies "sorta usd car" building and some of the cars for the lot. I finished putting rocks on the far side of the ramp and got foam all over myself, at times I am a klutz. Betty used up the rest of the rock on the house side of the ramp and now we are out of rocks and Dawn and Paul won't bring more for another week. I put out the coca cola boxcar next to the loading ramp. Then I came in and worked on the computer while Betty planted flowers.
Little by little the town and the lake area are taking shape. The hard part now is trying to plan the stream .Well its time for a breating treatment and this time I expect no thunder.

Saying for the day:Be careful of your thoughts for your thoughts become your words;
Having talked to Peter last night we made reservations at a Hampton Inn near St.Charles for the end of July so that we can attend a part of the National Garden Railroad Meeting. We needed Peter because Betty doesn't like to drive in city traffic.
It really rained here this morning so we worked on projects in the garage. We repainted the building that will center our used car lot and we painted the signs to go on it. Tomorow we have to put the signs on the building. After lunch we cleaned up the main table in the garage. Then Paul and Dawn came and cut up some wood for me. Betty still won't let me saw with the power saw. Then Dawn and Paul took us out for a late afternoon snack. When we came back we got ready and went to church. Again it was good to be in worship with the people of God and Jack had a good sermon. After church we went grocery shopping. That took a very long time and $117.00. When we came home I checked my E-mail and started on this blog entry. Well I have to have a breathing treatment.
GBYA
Addendum-added next morning. After I shut down the computer and was going for my breathing treatment there was a loud roar of thunder and the electricity went out.Now there was no breathing treatment and if continued no power to run my sleep mask.WE sat in the dark for 45 minutes. We tried to get a radio working but failed. Finally Betty went to car to listen to WIKB to see if she could find out when the power would be back. Just after she went to the car the power returned but she didn't know it.I pushed the garage door opener to let her know to come in. She still hadn't found WIKB. Then I had a breathing treatment.

Friday-9

Saying for the day:* Resentments are like stray cats: if you don't feed them, they'll go away.
Well I put on my clerics today-first time in a long time-and I said a few words at Marianne's funeral. Then we had lunch at the church and ran into a lot of old friends including the Methodist Pastor, The Episcopal priest, Catholic Deacon, and the organist from Florence.. We got home just in time to meet with the salesman for the bathtub with a door. He was a real salesman. I much enjoyed the experience but Betty hated it. He used every technique one could think of. He started with a price quote $3000 above the other quotes we had. We called this to his attention. He then said almost in a whisper that if we could sign up today he was pretty sure he could get his boss to come down $2000 . Of course that would leave him $1000 above the competition. Then he reminded us he had come a long way and would really like to get it done today (guilt).I told him we could not make a commitment until we found a local plumer to install the tub. He gave us until Monday to do that but then changed it to Tuesday and "gave us an extra day". He also suggested that the other place in Flordia that sells this kind of tub was taking people's money and not delivering the tub. Its so good to watch an expert fisherman work. Of course he failed but I was nice and didn't insult him or throw him out. He'll call back Tuesday.
Then we went to Walmart and bought paint, some bowls, some brushes, a pond pump, some foam maker, a sugar candy maker , liquid nails, contact cement, and I think that was all.In the store I ran into Pastor Peter Jonas who is leaving Iron mountain for a parish somewhere near Madison. On the way home it was raining and my lasix kicked in. it was a trully long half hour ride. Well it's time for a breathing treatment.

Saying for the day: Not what we have But what we enjoy, constitutes our abundance. John Petit-Senn
What a day. It took Betty and I all morning and three hours in the afternoon to get three remote switch tracks operating. One just wouldn't work and after much nonsense we finally discovered that one of the staples holding the wire had shorted that wire set. In addition to the three switch tracks we put out our Methodist Church, the Lutheran is still on the shelf. Betty planted some flowers and I started on making a fence to go around the town cemetary. We are also working on renovating an old building to become the used car place. We still hope to get another year out of the hotel but its looking doubtful. No work on the train tommorow as I have to go to a funeral and then we are meeting with a man about a bathtub with a door.Sometime we need to go to Iron Mountain for supplies, like foam for the mountain. Well I need a breathing treatment.

It was a slower day today. I moved some rock, laid some track, and worked on some buildings. Betty went to Tops. Dawn and Paul came and brought more rocks .They also took me out for lunch. That was kind of nice. One couldn't ask for a better sister. Its strange how our attitude toward people changes with time. Our little railroad town decided the school building was not going to last much longer and voted to build a new one. The materials are ordered and the contacting firm of Betty, Betty, and Betty will do the construction. The last thing we did before coming in was to work on a cemetary for the garden railroad town. We had the tombstones but no fence. But Betty has some creative ideas for that. The walk in bathtub people are coming Friday. Betty laying sidewalk. Posted by Hello

Tuesday-7J

Saying for the day:Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are."
Betty and I spent the day laying track, running wire, fixing buildings, setting up main street, adding rocks to the ramp, testing the ramp. I'm tired and so is Betty. But everything is moving right along. We tested the ramp . Our littlest engine not only had no trouble going up it but it could pull one big boxcar as well. By Thursday we will have pictures of all of this on our web page.
www.familylinna.com . Our little LGB engine pulled two big boxcars up the ramp.We are very happy with how it is working out. Of course if we ran the train to the end of the ramp it would drop into space. We didn't let that happen. Well I need a breathing treatment.

Monday we will begin putting the houses out. Oh!we did get grandma's house in. We put in a little dirt road and put the house at the end of it. Saying for the day:Albert Einstein: Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted.
Fairly good night last night. In the morning Betty worked at cleaning my sleep mask and equipment. I laid track to the mill. For lunch we grilled pork chops. In the afternoon I finished work on extending the tract and we tested it. It worked perfectly.Dawn and Paul brought more rocks. In the evening we went to Church. Jack was preaching . I remember when I gave him his first chance to preach. It was a very good sermon growing right out of the text. We met a pastor from Green Bay who stopped to worship with us. Well its time for a breathing treatment.

Friday-3J

Saying for the day: Silence is often misinterpreted, but never misquoted.
Spent the morning trying to lay out the track over by the mill. Betty worked on the flowers. Our deer repelent didn't work and they ate some of her flowers last night. Couldn't get the grill to light so we cooked on the stove for lunch. In the afternoon we waited on the lady to come and get the carpet and its gone now. Then we went grocery shopping where we had a slight argument. I should have worked with the saying for the day.Its strange how little things can set us off. In this case Betty was tired and I was exhasted and we argued over orange juice. What a stange world. We have patched it all up now and thats good because I love her more than anything.Well its time for a breathing treatment.

Thursday-2J

Saying for the day: Laugh every day, it's like inner jogging.
We spent most of the day working on the garden railroad. Our mountain is just about done now.Betty has done most of the work. I finished the last of the forms for the incline and got them painted. We had leftovers for lunch. In the afternoon the man came and did the hedge it looks super now. Its like having our own gardener.Betty got the fountain working full again in the mill pond. All in all it was a good day. We put out the first of the devices that are to keep the deer away. My breathing medication came. Its time for a breathing treatment.

Wednesday-1J

Saying for the day:Today, when I awoke, I suddenly realized that this is the best day of my life, ever. There were times when I wondered if I would make it to today; but I did! And because I did I'm going to celebrate!Today, I'm going to celebrate what an unbelievable life I have had so far: the accomplishments, the many blessings, and, yes, even the hardships because they have served to make me stronger.I will go through this day with my head held high and a happy heart.I will marvel at God's seemingly simple gifts:
Very good night used latge breathing mask. In the mornig Betty and I built another part of the ramp for the train. Then Betty went to Tops. I grilled a small steak and had a little lemon pie for lunch. In the afternoon the nurse came and said it looked like I was doing very well and that with the next visit they would probably discharge me from home health care. We finished the afternoon by building another part of the ramp. Then Betty worked on the mountain and I worked on a road on the model railroad. The fountain in the lake by the lumber mill quit and Betty spent some time trying to fix it. It sort of runs now. This was a very busy day. I can't say I'm going for a breathing treatment because the medication has't come yet.
