The Train Show

Saying for the day-We don't stop playing because we turn old,but turn old because we stop playing.Satchel Paige

Today we go to Trainfest. Hooray !
Today we go to Trainfest. Whoopee !
We oit up early to drive to Milwaukee.
There will be 50 operating layouts from Z to G scale, 60 manufacturers, 50 hobby dealers, 12 historical groups, kids’ activities, demonstrations & how-to clinics, locomotive testing and more!
I am so excited.
My grandsons are coming with me.
It will be one wonderful day.
Betty has already told me that we can’t buy much. She knows I get carried away.
So much to see.
So I hope you have a good day. I’m off to the show.

News from Pigeon Falls-The little town in my basement where the trains still run, dragons fly, and life is back to normal. It is a beautiful day in Pigeon Falls today. The temperature is expected to reach 50 degrees. It’s just a great day for a Christmas Craft Show.
The first customers arrived on the milk train this morning. They were ready to go craft shopping. Pigeon Falls was ready for them to shop. Last Lutheran had a crew down at the station inviting them to free coffee at the Church as the full sale wouldn’t start until a little later in the morning. Perhaps, in their honor the town dragon flew twice over the town. In any case it should hype sales of Robert’s Dragon pictures. “You can get your picture taken with a dragon!” his sign says.
Petrovich will be selling bobble heads of the Russian Seer. He has set up a table in front of Wink’s Woods. He also has a little book of translated driblets on sale. The book includes the driblets that seem to point to World War Two.
Nancy’s poltergeist has some new lights and is making longer words and combinations of words. His confusing word now reads ALLDRGASTI instead of ALDRST.
Mrs. Trumble has received a notice from the ACLU that if the town Holiday Tree contains ornaments that depict the birth of Jesus then it is in violation of Federal Law. She sent back a note that there is no “Holiday Tree “in Pigeon Falls and therefore it can’t be in violation of the law.

Today's Link-I'm Not Touching You-What a dream.
It was a great day but all good things end. We are home. I will blog about the train show on Monday but now I need a breathing treatment.

Wait. Wasnt there suppose suppose to be a blizzard in Pigeon Falls? Now it is going to be 50? Seems the weatherman in Pigeon Falls are just as bad at forecasting as they are everywhere else.

Yes, there are advantages to living in civilization again. How wonderful that you could go to the train show in Milwaukee ... so many more resources for your hobby available to you now.
