@@@@@ News from Pigeon Falls-the little town in my basement where the trains still run, dragons fly, and people do what they must– Last night the judges for the Pigeon Queen contest met with all the candidates. Every one of the girls was asked the traditional set of ten questions.
1. What do you think of Pigeons?
2. Tell the Pigeon Falls story.
3. Sing the Pigeon Falls song.
4. What is the best way to clean the Pigeon statue ?
5. Do a Pigeon call.
6. What have you done to protect the pigeons?
7. What is the name of the Pigeon on the Pigeon Falls statue?
8. Who built the yellow brick road?
9. Name five dishes that can be made with potatoes.
And finally
10. Give us a good pasty recipe .
When they finished the judges voted based on the answers to go against the Town Council, Petrovich, and a whole group of others and make Polly Stir Pigeon Queen for 2007. They did it , according to one judge, because it was the right thing to do.

Today's Link-Nate is a Blog- Find out what the Russians are up to now. Leave a Dr. John in the comment.
Today I got out of the Fortress. We went to Menards, Steins, and The Fox River Mall. We had lunch at the IHOP. I got to ride my scooter . It was one fun day. I bought a little pool for almost nothing. We are going to set it up and see if Maggie will play in it and stay out of the big pool. Now I need a breathing treatment.
