A Finnish Joke as told in Finland

Finnish drinking game

There are two versions of this game for Finns; regular and advanced.

Regular: Three Finnish guys go into the sauna, each with half a litre of Kossu (Finland's famous Koskenkorva vodka). They each drink the vodka, and then one guy goes outside. The other two have to guess who went outside....

Advanced: TWO Finnish guys go into the sauna, each with a litre of Kossu. They each drink the vodka, and then one guy goes outside. The other guy has to guess who went outside....

@@@@News from Pigeon Falls-the little town in my basement where the trains still run, dragons fly, and the talent show is coming– The Pigeon Falls Pigeon Days Talent Show which had been scheduled for the thirteenth through the fifteenth has been rescheduled for the sixteenth through the eighteenth because of some street repairs in front of the theater. Despite the fact that everything seems darker people are getting ready for the big event. Vicki East plans on singing and has a new song she has written for the event. It is titled “Unless”. Tommy UK plans on doing his tap dance. He has been practicing all week and driving his parents crazy. Eino and Toivo will do their Abbott and Costello routine for the fifth year. The bell choir from the Last Lutheran Church will play. A group of kids from all the churches plan on singing . A group of Methodist ladies calling themselves “ The Pasty Gals” will sing some old time Methodist camp songs. It is shaping up to be a great night.
The hole in the yard of the old Wilson property has been capped and the Mine Inspector says everything else looks fine.
People are still coming in to Nancy’s and talking about the night being darker than it has ever been. Eino says this is nonsense since dark is dark.
Petrovich has gone over the fragments and is fairly sure that another of the words after the unless is woman. So now he has priest and woman. He doesn’t know which woman or if she should go to the Priest. Perhaps Polly should go and talk to Father Bill. It couldn’t hurt. Petrovich’s friends in the monastery are still trying to find a good copy that has the words after the unless. The rest of the translation can be seen by clicking HERE.

I finished getting the May blogs ready to print. I have to get some ink and paper before I can print them. I watched my soaps. Then I took a nap. After which I finished visiting my links. Now I need a breathing trwatment.
