Its Leave a comment Monday

Saying for the Day: Kind deeds enrich the soul of both the doer and the receiver.

Well here it is Monday again. I have read so many blogs and so many comments my head is spinning.
What I have read has reinforced my view of this group.
You are perceptive, kind and creative.
You read well and think on the spot.

I congratulate you all.

Now my favorite comment of the week.

“Dr. John's chosen link for today. This means that an untold number of wonderful people will be stopping by to visit you. Warning: amongst the nice visitors there could be a white rabbit wearing a sweater, a flying dragon (haven't heard of him wearing a sweater yet) and last but most scary, an old lady toting a shotgun and chasing the other two.
.. Posted by Anonymous

I thought it was so funny and I couldn’t even give credit because whoever did it didn’t include their name.

The prize for the day is a Halloween hand towel.
It is shown here.
Just what you need to wipe your hands or your child’s after all that sloppy Halloween
Candy.

@@@@
News from Pigeon Falls– the little town in my back yard where the train still runs and pumpkins are dropped on little old ladies by dragons– Mrs. Trumble hasn’t been seen since she was covered with pumpkin pieces , twice. She us probably home sulking and planning her revenge. Now she is more than ever determined to get the dragon and the White Rabbit. She is pointing out that the dragon could start dropping rocks instead of pumpkins. Perhaps if she wasn’t trying to shoot it , it wouldn’t drop anything. Fred Barns says she should pay for his jacket that has pumpkin stains on it because she blew that pumpkin apart. It wouldn’t have been nearly as messy if it had been left to hit the ground. She is ignoring him.
Eino wants the town council to make a rule against having guns in town but they are reluctant since so many of the local people have guns hanging in their trucks. Perhaps the council could draft the law so it would be illegal to have them in town outside of a vehicle. The National Rifle Association has already sent somebody to talk to the Mayor. Their moto is: “ No gun law is a good gun law”. One has to wonder who would be brave enough to take dragon slayer away from Mrs. Trumble if she brought it to town after the law was passed.
We wonder when Vicki will have her Trumble song ready.

Today’ s Link– The Fourth Marathon sixth blog list-Remember to put Dr. John in the comments to get stumbling JCPOINTS. Check HERE for your totals –fourth maarathon not included. The fifth link list will be repeated tomorrow.
Sorry about all the confusion on yesterday's list. I tested it before I transfered it to the server but not afterwords. Something happened in the transfer. I just love computers. The list can be done tommorow . I think this is the last multiple day marathon I will run. Next month a one day mini-marathon. If I had been home instead of Greem Bay I would have caught it much sooner.
We will draw for Today's prizes this afternoon.
And the winners are:
Artsytartsyviray

and

Bella

Congratulations and happy Halloween!
We brought the last of the papers to the bank for a loan today. So now we wait. We also went grocery shoping . Betty's sister called and they may be here on Saturday. I spent most of the day counting up blog visits. Betty went to the Evangelism Board meeting. I need a breathing treatment.

i'm most delighted that you weren't at home and isntead you were visiting and living life and enjoying yourself.

you have nothing to apologize for. we all did good, we managed. it is more than enough what you do for us. you give us friendship, love, comfort, prizes, links to new friends..you are bringing us into a mini community..so what if the links didn't work for a while..

i'm glad that you were out laughing and watching your daughter be welcomed instead of the computer. and yes, you do have wonderful kids. and they have wonderful parents.

no worries..no pressure dr.John, this is all wonderful and good fun. whatever and however you decide to have your marathons is okay with us. it is fun and a way to give out to others the love you give to each one of us. whatever makes it easier for you, specially in the stress level. we all love writting those words: dr.John here and there..
pls don't feel bad at all..pls..
***************
i love that Mrs. Trouble is no longer running the town with here rules and shot gun..lol..she must be so embarrassed and that is why no one has seen her yet..i'm sorry, she must be a sweet old lady, but she is naughty to the dragon and rabbit and they have done no harm and brought so much good to the town.
*******************
absolutely nothing but joy to do the marathons..don't feel anything but joy that so many of us want to participate and have fun..we all know nothing is perfect, not even links or the internet, lol..

glad you were so happy this wknd. that makes me soo happy to know. much love and hugs all around. did today's link..but your name everywhere except for one. he needed to know he was important and i didn't want him to think it was all for points.

I agree...the marathons are lots of fun. It's when I get "out" to new blogs and of course, I love when company comes calling on me, too.

I did go through the marathon list late last night just before bed and I saw some others did too so it was not a total failure.

I liked anonymous's comment....if I were to guess who left it I would say your wife's sister but hat is just a guess.

Dear Dr John

Though I do not quite understand what this is about, but still I want to thank you all your effort sending people to Jin's blog (Devil's Advocate at http://jinxiaoyang.blogspot.com), all and each little prayers are very much appreciated.

Time like this, is like sending hot coals in cold snowy weather, the warmth and utmost heartfelt gratitude is beyond words.

Thank you very much and keep the prayers coming, every little one counts.

God Bless.

Wei

Hey, you work hard on these marathons, you deserve a day off to go to Green Bay...Im happy you had a nice day off and went and visited with your family. These marathons are all in fun, if the list got mixed up, so what? we just do it again the next day, no big deal.

Yeah, the multi-day thing is a lot easier on the participants, but probably a LOT more work for you! Thanks for giving it a try, though.

I was going to update my blog but found so much "marathon" traffic there, I decided to let it ride until tomorrow.

Thanks, as always, for the traffic, Doc, and I hope you're having an amazing day!

P.S. I've heard pumpkin is great for the skin . . . except for the orange-y stain.

Ha ha! I'm thinking about moving into your basement, Doc. It's kinda crowded over at my place after all the people you sent over. :-)

...I'll just lock the wine cellar, though... ;-)

I can't keep up with you! lol

These marathons - I want so much to participate in EVERY ONE of them but I can't neglect my school work. :( I need a bumper sticker that says:

I'd rather be doing a Dr. John blog marathon than this.

Wanna make me one? ;) haha

hahaaa, the town where pumpkin droppings fall from the sky!

...guns, guns, guns
that's a tough issue.
in the wrong hands--THEY ARE DEADLY!
However, in the RIGHT HANDS they are a BLESSING! We have the right 2 bare Arms in the United States! It was put there 4 a reason, and that was 2 DEFEND OURSELVES! If we give up that right - Criminals Will STILL HAVE Their guns! ...and always remember- You DON'T Bring A Knife 2 A Gun-Fight!
What has happened 2 Our Country? :"(

Sorry 2 bend U'r Ear! ;] Anyhow, My Congats on U'r blogging. U certainly put many hours into it, especially the link a day AND marathon! ...and U do a Fantastic Job! I always enjoy my reading here.
Thanx
:)
