Who Am I Really?

Saying for the Day-WE are never as good as we think we are nor as bad as our enemies believe us to be.

If you watch Soaps then you know that there are no bad people on them. Everybody thinks of themselves as good. No matter how bad an act they commit , no matter how many terrible things they do, they see themselves as good . The rest of the world is evil.
How do you vision yourself. I suspect you see yourself as one of the good people, a nice person. If you have an argument or a fight with somebody it is their fault not yours.
But God sees us as we really are. He is outside of our personal soap. The things we hide from others and even from ourselves are not hidden from God.
The amazing thing is that God sees us as we are and still loves us. He sees the extremely rude, angry, cranky, miserable retired man of the cloth and he still loves him. Then in his love he lets us see ourselves as we are. This not to punish us but to let us know that as his child we can change. We can learn to love people as they are. We can learn to be kind and caring . We have Jesus giving us an example to follow.
Thank you Lord.

@@@@ News from Pigeon Falls– the little town in my garage where the trains still run, dragons fly, and some people sleep a long time.-Yesterday people waited to find out if Alex Mattson, who had died in The Dream, had died in real life. Alex lives alone on what used to be a farm. People started calling the house at about 8:00 in the morning but he didn’t answer. Finally Eino and the local constable went to visit him. They pounded on the door but there was no answer. Finally Eino found an unlocked window and crawled in. He opened the door and let the constable in. They went to Alex’s bedroom and there he was sound asleep. He was not dead. They were so relieved. But then they realized they couldn’t wake him up. They called the doctor. The doctor couldn’t find anything wrong but had him taken to the hospital in Iron Mountain for observation and some tests.
Word spread through the town that if you died in The Dream you didn’t die in real life but you didn’t wake up either.
Eino said it may be that Alex had some problem in real life that caused him to die in The Dream . It didn’t have to be that The Dream caused his problem.
People , who had read Petrovich’s latest translations of the old Russian Prophets dribblets said this is just what the seer predicted. People where going to the internet and Petrovich’s Website and reading for themselves.

Today's Link-Synaptic Disunion- The wonders of being alone explained - leave a Dr. John in the comment for another chance at Friday's priceless drawing.
Went to Church this morning. Good sermon on the power of Pentecost. The senior choir sang. It was a blessed morning. Betty and Pennie went flower shopping and I took a nap in the afternoon. Then they planted flowers and I watched Monk. Tomorrow Peter and family will come to visit. Now I need a breathing treatment.

It is hard enough for man to comprehend the working's of man's Mind, to begin to even fathom the mind of A GOD.

Most of us would presume to be godlike, and assume to be good, then we err by desiring to impose our point of view on how others should behave or be - yet we only begin to comprehend Godliness or what it is to be godlike, when we begin to realise how limited and mortal we are, and how judgemental we become. Judge not and you shall not be judged - of course is hard to adhere to - we must decide or judhe whether to take an umbrella with us, if it looks like rain

Alas, but one more judgement or human decision GOD would not be burdened or troubled with - lol!

Tea or Coffe, what shall it Be?
Wine or beer, what will you have today?
Do we say either or neither
and what would GOD say!
which would be God's Way?

Words to live by. I've often wondered how others view me. What do I do that people consider wrong? What does God see in me that is wrong? I've prayed that He shows me the error of my ways.

I missed church this week so this was a wonderful post for me to reflect on. Thank you!
