And the same to you and your, Dr. John! We did the 9 p.m. service at church last nite, said goodbye to Pastor Carrie and wished her safe flying to her family's home up in Wisconsin today! Some freezing rain here today so don't know if she was able to fly out yet or not but pray for safe travel for her and on her return to us, her sheep, here next week!
Maya wanted to know this morning how come her Mommy and Gram and Uncle Clate and her cousin Alex had to go out to the church last night and "hang out" there? Trying to explain in a way she might grasp at least bits and pieces of what a special day it is today and why. She'll get it someday, I have faith in that. I just hope I'm still around for when it is a special place and to be with her as she grows in the church, in faith and knows the love that exists through that too.
