Poem a Day-April 18
April 18 The nice Lady
She patted me on the head
“So that’s Ella” to me said
“Good for you old man
Get help where you can
Keep that mind in flight
Talk to the doll it’s alright.”
I told her where Ella’s been
She almost smiled and then
“Remembered all that did you
See it will help you through”
I wanted at her to scream
“I’m not as old as I might seem”
But then she walked away
Me her good deed of the day.
And I didn’t smash her head
Run her over, leave her dead
Condescending old broad
Who died and made her God.
She patted me on the head
“So that’s Ella” to me said
“Good for you old man
Get help where you can
Keep that mind in flight
Talk to the doll it’s alright.”
I told her where Ella’s been
She almost smiled and then
“Remembered all that did you
See it will help you through”
I wanted at her to scream
“I’m not as old as I might seem”
But then she walked away
Me her good deed of the day.
And I didn’t smash her head
Run her over, leave her dead
Condescending old broad
Who died and made her God.

Ohhhhhhhh NOOOOO! That batty ol' woman! She's crazier than you are! I'm sure of it... I think...!
TWO MORE DAYS!!!
Did you get my email where I asked you to send me your phone number?
Never mind!!! I see you did! Thank you! :)
Grrrrrrr - indeed!
That old lady is lucky Ella was feeling mellow or she might have been tackled by an elephant!
I would much rather carry around a stuffed animal than a superior-than-thou air!
