Flash Fiction 55 -The Outsider

My name is Hessa and I’m a slave or servant .

They paid Three hundred dollars for me. I’m not very
talented so mostly I just fetch and carry. But they
are nice to me. Sometimes I sleep With the Master.

I eat well. I think they love me as much as you can

a dog.

Since I discovered it was okay I am writing a second flash 55 which will be a continuous story but a complete story every week. Here then are the ongoing adventures of Sir Laughsalot and Robberhood

Once upon a time there lived a marvelous Knight named Sir Laughsalot. Sir Laughsalot laughed a lot. He laughed when he was riding his horse. He laughed when he was fighting. He even laughed when he was making love to the fair maiden Grinaveer but that As anyone can tell you was a hetonious mistake.

Friday 55 Flash Fiction is brought to you by G-man (Mr Knowitall). The idea is you write a story in exactly 55 words. If you want to take part pop over and let G-man know when you've posted your 55.

News from Pigeon Falls
The little town in my basement where the trains still run, dragons fly, and life is back to normal Now Jon Bergall has reported three of his cows missing. So it would seem as if Pigeon Falls has a cow thief . Constable Marlin Snyder, who you will remember got his CSI training watching television, said, “ This is a very hard case to crack because there is no crime scene. Those city detectives have it so easy.. But here nobody know if the cows were in the upper or lower pasture or even out on the back fourty. They run free all day and wander in to be fed in the evening . But last evening three didn’t wander in. “
He went over the fields as best he could but didn’t find any blood or odd tracks. He thinks there is the possibility that some people in a neighboring town lost their job in the economic turn down and are getting some meat for the table. So he has called all the butcher shops in a hundred mile radius to ask if anybody killed a cow and brought it in for them to cut up into roasts and such. But so far that hasn’t located a single cow. He also checked with DR. Fortress to see if anybody moved cows by train but no one had.
The town council has informed him that if any more cows disappear they are going to have to call in the State Police and some tracking dogs.

Wrap UP
The dragons are joining today you can see them HERE
Or Scroll down and see my poem for the day.
On Monday Ella was sick , probably from all that candy on Easter. But she still wanted to be where everybody else was so we set her up on the couch. Elmer kept looking after her. He's such a good grand elephant even if Granpa gets his name wrong half the time.
I had a good day. I visited every blog on my friends list. I updated the bulletin on St. Mark's Website. I visited the blogs of people doing Friday 55. Now I need a breathing treatment.

I wonder what my little kittie would write if she were to delve into the World of 55....

She does like to try and type just like her mommy. She even tries to text with me on my cellphone.

I, too, am enjoying the li'l Ella picture. :)

LOVE the quote....might have to post it on my site one of these days, if you don't mind. I think it's the reason most of us start out here in Blogland. And how you do all that in 55 words is amazing! Brevity is never what I lead with as YOU can tell, I'm sure. :)

Thanks so much for stopping by and I'll bet you have stories GALORE about your pigeon time. I squeeze life for stories like I squeeze a dollar. I make it go as far as I can ut we don't always eat well. lol
