A little visit

Saying for the day: One who does not visit does not grow.

Glad you could stop by on such a busy day.
Have a cup of coffee.Would you like some sugar with that.

Have a saffron bun with real butter not that pretend stuff.

Thanks for coming.
We have to do this more often.
I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a blessed new year.

#### News from Pigeon Falls-The little town in my basement where the trains still run, dragons fly, and life is back to normal. The pigeons are back this morning with the same lead pigeon. Ms. Pucell, the pigeon expert, is kicking herself for not seeing what an eighth grade kid saw. Of course , since she didn’t believe pigeons would follow a leader, she wasn’t looking for one. She was looking for patterns and every day gave her a new one to analyze. She had a theory about ingrained genetic pattern behavior releasing itself in historic patterns. So because she wasn’t looking she didn’t see.
But now she is and what she sees she can’t believe. The lead pigeon every day is unlike any pigeon she has ever seen.

She has combed her vast data base of pigeon pictures and
can’t find anything like it. It appears to be a pigeon if there were such a bird. It appears only once in the morning and once at night. All the other pigeons seem to be willing to follow it and it sets the patterns. She is planning, after Christmas, to capture the bird for closer study. This may very well be an evolutionary breakthrough.
Other than the pigeon activity ,Pigeon Falls is fairly quiet. People are making final arrangements for Christmas. Families are deciding which service to attend tonight. Pastors and Priest are putting last minute touches on sermons. Last minute gifts are bring wrapped. Just your typical night before Christmas.

Today was one of those really special days that you don't want to end. My oxygen level was way up. I finished the road on one side of the layout. Mr. three grandsons came. I went to Christmas Eve service without the oxygen bottle. We sang the old carols and had Communion. My son Patrick made pasties and brought them. There couldn't be a better day. Now I need a breathing treatment.

My understanding is that pigs are suppose to be very smart --- werent they the leaders in Animal Farm? No doubt this PIGeon was able to convince the rest of the pigeons to follow due to its PIG genes.

I think the pigeons' leader is nothing but a poultrygeist! It has to be!

Merry Christmas, you two. =)
