Saying for the day:Show me a sane man and I will cure him for you.Carl Jung
.......Well everyone is trying to think of a star whose last name starts with an M. Grandma Moris said it must be either Walter Matthau or Dean Martin. We tried to tell her they were both dead but she said she saw them on television just this last week. Angela South, our Mayor, said that she went on the Internet and there were over 700 movie stars whose last name started with an M. Tommy, the undertakers son, said he hoped it was Takehiro Murata. Nobody wanted to admit they had never heard of him, but it seemed only Tommy had any information. Angela went back to the internet and discovered that he was the star of Godzilla 2000. That's one of those movies that comes on television after midnight. Tommy must be sneaking down to watch television after his parents go to bed. Name the star fever has gotten so bad that even tourists up at the Red Roof Cafe were trying to guess who it could be. Bonnie, she runs the Red Roof, told them they would have to come back in August to find out who was right. In other news Ken Johnson is still waiting to find out if the DNR is going to prosecute him for wolf killing. In the meantime they sent him a fifteen page questioner . It included questions like "Did the wolf snarl and show his teeth?". Or "on a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 is non and ten is sure death, rate the danger from this wolf at the time you killed him." Ken says he has finished the first five pages.
Well I'll keep you informed of what's happening in Pigeon Falls.
......Good night last night but woke up with bad heartburn. In the morning I worked on bent's for the trestle and ran the train . Tried the wireless video camera and it worked with the television set but not with my computer interface. Betty went to the eye doctor because yesterday when we were sawing wood for the trestle, a speck of wood hit her in the eye. She made me wear a mask and safety goggles. She came back at noon and said the Dr. gave her some antibiotics to prevent infection and took out the speck. In the afternoon she washed all the kitchen windows and rehung the curtains. I finished the bents for the trestle. Then Betty came out and together we built our first trestle. It still needs top planking and staining but we think it looks nice. I came in and got the wireless camera to work with my computer but then the computer went down. It was one of those things where I had to reset the system to yesterday to get it working again. I'm going to take the time off the web cam because nothing ever goes right. We are getting ready to go to peter's tomorrow and I will do a quick blog in the morning before we leave. Well I really need a breathing treatment.
