Saturday July2

Saying for the day:He who asks a question may be a fool for five minutes, but he who never asks a question remains a fool forever.Tom Connelly
Just after my breathing treatment the store called and they found Betty's purse. Well one good came of it we canceled two cards that we had intended to cancel in any case. Had a good night last night. A few last words about the storm at Pigeon Falls-When we finally got the house off the old lady some water fell on her from the roof and she burned up. As she was disappearing she said two things ."Forget the yellow brick road" and "Don't give my shoes to Dorothy ".The shoes by the way are at the parsonage of Last Lutheran Church, where the Rev.Alowishus Marvel, a real wizard of a guy is pastor .In the morning we worked on a platform to go next to the restaurant. Then we ran some trains. I decided to start with the logging train which is a Bachmann and we had a lot of trouble. The engine works well but the cars keep getting disconnected. We have to keep fixing the little things that the engine pays no attention too in order to keep the train together. Every time I thought we had it fixed it would disconnect at some other place. After lunch we put the new station in its place up by the restaurant and ran the train a few more times. Then we came inside. Without rock there is not much we can do. Dawn's next load won't be here until sometime next week. Betty did some laundry and I worked at cleaning up my office . Then we went to Saturday night service. There was a baptism and the pastor couldn't find the battery pack for the church camera so I sent Betty home for ours. It was a very nice service, and it felt good to be back in church. When we came home I uploaded the pictures first to the church website and then to the church office. It felt like old times. Well I need a breathing treatment.
