Gatina
It is time to share with you another of my favorite blogs.
This nice lady lives the dreams of many of us.
Her name is Gatina and she sort of lives in Waterloo, Belgium .
She travels, a lot. She vacations often. Then she shares all this with us on her blog with pictures and great narrative.
But even when she isn’t traveling she is busy turning everyday life into an adventure and sharing that with us as well.
She is a wonderful example of how growing old doesn’t have to make you act old.
The only problem with visiting her blog is it leads one to the sin of envy. I can not imagine anyone not enjoying her blog.
In addition to this blog she keeps a photo-blog and a cat blog.
My son Peter is having surgery today. They are removing his gall bladder. Please keep him in your prayers.
Peter is now out of surgery and doing fine. He will be in the hospital at least until tomorrow.

Her blog is excellent. I love it. Good choice Dr. John. My thoughts will be with your son Peter today as well as you and Betty :) Aloha
What you say here is absolutely true. Having met her in real life, I have even more respect for the optimistic adventurous fun loving lady she is!
Sending your son thoughts and good vibes, Dr John. I hope all goes well for him. My gall bladder was removed almost twenty years ago, fortunately that kind surgery is a lot less complicated nowadays.
It WAS his gallbladder! GOOD he's getting it out! Oh, I felt so much better when mine was gone! It really IS a nuisance when it goes bad! I am certainly praying for him this morning ... are they doing it laproscopically? I hope so ... mine was waaaaaaaaaay back before then - so I had the big incision and LONG recovery - but now days it's relatively simple.
YAY for GATTINA!!! She is everything you say ... and more! I LOVE her dearly!
Hi Dr. John,
I do hope all goes well with Peter's surgery. I will keep him in my prayers today. I am on my way to check out Gatina's blog.

I love the new format, and your "introductions" are marvelous!
Pesky gallbladders. It is a simple procedure these days, but prayer said.
She sounds like a very neat lady, thanks for sharing her with us!
Will be praying all goes well with Peter's surgery!
God bless!
The surgery of your son must be a big concern for you. Fortunately gall bladder surgeries are quite commun, but still a surgery is never nice.
Thank you so much for all these compliments, I really don't know what to say, I am so touched. I never expected that people would appreciate my blog and that I would meet so many adorable people all over the world !
Many prayers for your son. :)
Lucky Gatina to get such praise from our DOCTOR.

I pray from the Canaries for your soN and his soon recovery
