Memories are Caused by This

Saying for the day: A memory is what is left when something happens and does not completely unhappen. ~Edward de Bono

I sit here today filled with memories caused by Quilly’s Alphabet Picture Challenge.
Digging out those pictures and seeing them has let loose a flood of memories.
Memories of my childhood including my cousins, sister, uncles, aunts and grandparents. All of them helping to shape what I would become. Memories that make me laugh and cry.
Memories of my parents and how lucky I was to have them. Things I wish I had told them but never did.
Memories of my three kids when they were little. Memories of camping and amusement parks. Memories of Christmas and special gifts.
Memories of my grandchildren when life was good and the divorce hadn’t happened yet.
So many , many memories.
Thank you Quilly.
The Alphabet Photo Challenge is being sponsored by Quilly at Quilly's Pacific Paradise.

#### News from Pigeon Falls-The little town in my basement where the trains still run, dragons fly, and life is back to normal .Tommy UK came back to Pigeon Falls on the last train last night. He was the only passenger. There was nobody to meet him at the station. He had expected his father to be here with the car. But he walked home. Then he discovered that nobody was home. He figured his mother and dad must have gone to some kind of gathering so he went to bed. In the morning his parents still weren’t there but he got ready for school. Then the bus didn’t come to pick him up. He tried calling his dad’s cell phone and there was no answer. So he took his bike and rode into town. At the railroad station he found some people who came in on the milk train but nobody met them. They had walked around town but there was nobody in any store or shop or building. On the steps of The Fly Inn was a person who had a room reserved but there was nobody to talk to about it. Everybody in town had disappeared.
Where is everybody? Does the last driblet point to this. What will Tommy UK do? Where are the pigeons? And of course Is Tommy UK really the undertaker’s kid.
These and other really stupid questions might be answered but not tomorrow.

My oxygen bounced again today. It was almost up to normal. I had a great day. My sister called. Pennie took the dog to the doggy hairdresser. I sorted pictures. Betty worked on the lawn. I visited almost all of my links. Now I need a breathing treatment.

I imagine this challenge HAS brought a lot of memories up for you! And for others too...

As for me, I remember snow before global warming! Back when it was FUN and not just a mess!

Now WHAT in the wORld is happening in Pigeon Falls??? Maybe Tommy UK stepped off the train into another dimension!

In the driblet, it says "I need a drink". I guess Tommy UK needs to drink to see if it solves the problem. Is Gregnicoff contributing to the delinquency of a minor?

Still love the pictures. I liked your post on saving grace. Our pastor talked about saving grace on Sunday, so it was great timing.

I am so enjoying the pictures you've been posting for Quilly's photo challenge. And, I remember snow that deep, too! My kids don't believe it, though. But then, they've never seen it like that.

That's a cute picture.

I like the Alphabet Picture Challenge.

Gosh, I remember when we used to get snow - and icycles - like that here in Vancouver. Not for the last decade, however!
