#### News from Pigeon Falls-The little town in my basement where the trains still run, dragons fly, and life is back to normal It is Sunday in Pigeon Falls and Tommy UK sits alone in a pew at Last Lutheran. He was supposed to acolyte today. But there are no people to come and worship. There is no Pastor to share the Word from God. There is no organist to make beautiful hymn singing possible. There is no choir to lead the congregation. There is only a building and Tommy UK knows now more than ever that the building is not the Church. Last Lutheran is the people and they are nowhere to be found.
As he sits he goes over and over in his mind the driblet and what he knows. Then it is as if a light bulb lit above his head. Suddenly he put everything together. He called his uncle and asked him to get a piece of equipment and send it to him as soon as possible. He is so excited because he is sure that now he knows why there is no humming sound. He thinks he is on the way to solving the problem.
What has Tommy UK discovered? What is the answer? What does he want from his uncle? And of course is Tommy UK really the undertaker’s kid? Soon we will get some answers won't we!

The weather shifted and the air got heavy. My oxygen dropped three points below normal. I used a full small tank in Church this morning. Church was refreshing , the choir had a great song, the sermon was interesting, we sang " On Eagle's Wings" at the close. Then the fellowship after the service was great. Came home and update the website. In the afternoon I played canasta with Pennie and Betty and Pennie won. Then I did a little blogging. Now I need a breathing treatment.

Annnnnd Y is for Yogi Bear! I was wishin' this week that I HAD a picture of Yogi Bear!!! Leave it to you!

I do indeed HOPE that soon we get some answers! I'm totally befuddled by this request for equipment! Maybe the humming is the flap of bird wings... maybe it's hummingbirds... but they've all left! Maybe Tommy needs a hummingbird feeder... but then he'll have to STOP the humming... ugh! Such a perplexing situation! FAR too much thinking for a Sunday too....

I love your ongoing theme of family. It shows your love and joy you find and give in family. It's been wonderful to observe. And I loved the bible in comics posted above. :)

Tommy is one brilliant boy -- most likely from wherever all this other weird stuff is coming from. If anyone can figure it out, he can.

Once again you out did yourself on the photo front. I an anxious to see what you're doing for Z -- and a little sad, too! Tomorrow is the Alphabet Challenge Finale!

Maxine has always been a little ole rough type lady - you showed a wonderfully deeper side of her with the cartoons.
Y family pics and Yogi too - excellent as always Dr. John.

Eternal God,
Creator of years, of centuries,
Lord of whatever is beyond time,
Maker of all species and master of all history --
How shall we speak to you
from our smallness and inconsequence?
Except that you have called us to worship you
in spirit and in truth;
You have dignified us with loves and loyalties;
You have lifted us up with your lovingkindnesses.
Therefore we are bold to come before you without groveling
[though we sometimes feel that low]
and without fear
[though we are often anxious].
We sing with spirit and pray with courage
because you have dignified us;
You have redeemed us from the aimlessness
of things' going meaninglessly well.
God, lift the hearts of those
for whom this holiday is not just diversion,
but painful memory and continued deprivation.
Bless those whose dear ones have died
needlessly, wastefully [as it seems]
in accident or misadventure.
We remember with compassion those who have died
serving their countries
in the futility of combat.
There is none of us but must come to bereavement and separation,
when all the answers we are offered
fail the question death asks of each of us.
We believe that you will provide for us
as others have been provided with the fulfillment of
"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted."

I also had a lovely day in church..God is so good!

It must be a time machine. Or a zapper like "beam me up Scotty"...

Loved your picture of Jellystone Park.
