His World

Saying for the Day: A man can no more diminish God's glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word, 'darkness' on the walls of his cell. ~C.S. Lewis, The Problem of Pain

#### News from Pigeon Falls-The little town in my basement where the trains still run, dragons fly, and life is back to normal. Tommy UK and the Tommy Club came back early last night. It seems they were just ten feet away from the cave entrance that they thought was the one they were looking for, when Mt. Hillary shifted position again. They even saw light whiffs of smoke coming from the entrance. With the shift they found themselves far away. They were so thankful for the GPS which guided them home. Tommy UK has to acolyte this morning and his parents would have been very upset if he decided to stay in the woods over night. But they were so close.
The great rabbit hunter Elmer Fudd has shown up and has a room at the Fly Inn. He doesn’t look at all like the guy in the cartoon. He is all business and no nonsense. He met with Mrs. Trumble this morning but nobody knows what went on in that meeting. Mrs. Trumble was late getting to church so it must have been important.
Yesterday the White Rabbit made several appearances. It is still wearing the same pink sweater which looks just a bit on the dirty side. But it smiles and waves as always.
The Petrovichs haven’t returned from Green Bay yet. Petrovich has an appointment with members of the Museum Board tomorrow so they will have to be back today or on the milk train in the morning.

Today's link-Wandering Toward My Shifting Self-The good guy wears black.
A wonderful day. My oxygen was up in the normal range. My grand sons went to church with us. The Sunday School put on a great program. There was Holy Communion. Then we went to Peter's House in Green Bay and celebrated Luke's birthday. All the cousins were together. It was a great afternoon. I came back and brought St. Mark's website up to date. Then Pennie, Betty , and I played canasta and I won. Now I need a breathing treatment.

Dr. John, you ARE on the official participant list. You have been since A (the list follows the comments on every post). You did not find yourself because you mistakenly looked under J, when your name, at least as far as I'm concerned, begins with D! Check again. AND check the sidebar.

I fell in love with Bobo - beagle/terrier mix?

Pigeon Falls sounds like a perfect hometown to have. Are there any houses for sale there?
