####News from Pigeon Falls-The little town in my basement where the trains still run, dragons fly, and life is back to normal. With the tree problem over and no new crisis on the horizon Pigeon Falls is getting ready for the Third Annual Snowmobile Tournament .Snowmobiles from all over Michigan , Wisconsin, and Minnesota will descend upon the town to take part in one of the most grueling tests of snowmobiles on the circuit. The race starts in downtown Pigeon Falls goes through the woods to the Lake of the Loons . Then it goes once around the lake and back to town. Snowmobiles are sent out in sets of two every five minutes. The total time from start to finish is recorded. There are, of course, those who never finish . Snowmobiles break down over the rugged course and have to be dragged away, This year upward of three hundred machines are expected for the two day event.
The entire town will be involved. Because of the lack of motel space people are renting out open rooms to those who want to come early and look over the course. It makes for an instant Bed and Breakfast. Jack, even though he said he wouldn’t, is having his nephew Brian open the Sauna. He knows when there’s a buck to be made. Both Wink’s Woods and Kivi & Maki are ordering special items related to the day. The Methodist ladies are aiming at selling five hundred pasties. Nancy will sell a lot of saffron buns and coffee. She will have a stand out at the Lake of the Loons to serve the spectators.
All of this in just three weeks.

A very good day. The oxygen was up into the low normal range so I didn't use a tank much of the day. I brought the Church web page up to date and added a history of the congregation. I worked on Thursday's Elf Tale which shows how Hilary is indirectly responsible for Global Warming and earthquakes. Betty and I worked in the basement and hot five more sets ready to list on eBay tomorrow. We are coming near the end. I had trouble with some of the pictures I took ( can't even blame Betty. So they won't be listed until tomorrow. Now I need a breathing treatment.

I'm gradually getting back in circulation. Yours is one of the first blogs I've visited in quite some time. Thank you for your consistent words of encouragement during the past difficult weeks in my life. I am still amazed by this thing called blogging and how it connects otherwise disconnected people in very real ways.
