It's Friday- Win or Lose

Saying for the Day:
Priceless Prize of the Day

It's time for the internet contest that requires no postage and handling fee.
The contest that requires no credit card.
The contest that is very slow at sending out prizes.
The contest that doesn't even require your correct name.
Every Friday we give away priceless prizes to some lucky person who commented on this blog in the week gone by.

THE RULES:
To take part in the contest you must
1: Have commented on at least one entry on this blog in the last week.
2: Be willing to supply your mailing address.

For every day that you left a comment we write your name on a slip of paper that is placed in our rose colored drawing bowl. So if you commented every day you could have 7 slips in the bowl.
( The more slips the higher your chance to win)

Next Betty or her designated replacement draws one of those slips and that person wins the Priceless Prize.

Today's Priceless Prize is this beautiful camel and baby globe.

If you don't like camels take a chance

on a door.
You could win two paper clips
or
A treasure Chest
or
Something else!

Good Luck.

@@@@ News from Pigeon Falls-The little town in my basement where the trains still run, dragons fly, and Nancy gets married tomorrow.-Poor Nancy is a nervous wreck. Her wedding is tomorrow and there are all kinds of loose ends. She has misplaced her veil, one of her new shoes is missing, Tommy UK hasn’t brought the horses yet, and it might rain tomorrow. In addition to all of that there is that blasted Petrovich and his crazy dribblet. According to him if she gets married there were will be no more pigeons. Despite all of her worries she is keeping the coffee shop open until noon today. It is helping to keep her mind off her troubles.
Eino is a bit worried as well since he has to drive the coach tomorrow. It may be rain proof inside where Nancy rides but outside where the driver sits is another story. So Eino has dug out the raingear he used when he worked on the ore boats years ago. He hopes that will keep him fairly dry. It’s a good job these will be real white horses and not painted ones. In a good rain all the paint would come off.
Petrovich has finished his translating of dribblet sixty two and will transfer it to his website some time today. You can see his website by clicking HERE. It’s the white horses that worry him not Nancy.
Tommy TW, Nancy’s groom, says this Petrovich thing is all foolishness . What would a drunken fifteenth century Monk know about his wedding.

Today's Link-Stand up Comedy from a Seated Position-Funny but sad.
We will draw for the Priceless Prize as soon as Betty returns from Pennie's.

The winner has been drawn.

It is

MIMI

Congratulations Mimi and welcome back.
A good breathing day today. I worked on blog related items in the morning. I contacted the wrong MIMI about winning. I sent an e-mail to the right one later and put a comment on the right blog. But the other Mimi was the first Mimi in my e-mail address book. In the afternoon I watched some of my soaps. Then we went to the Post office I got the prizes out for the last two Fridays and the package to my sister. ( Even procrastinators sometimes get something done) Now I need a breathing treatment. Hope to hear from the right Mimi by tomorrow. Mimi choose door two and won our pre-Christmas special. Two xmas pens, two finger puppets, a Snoopy tree ornament, and some Gingerfrost Lane figures.

What has Tommy UK got up his sleeve? Sounds like Tommy TW might need to find a spare shoe for Nancy.

Hasnt Eino heard of an umbrella? He could rig one up to stay on the carriage.

Tears, Tears? Could that be the rain that is predicted?

Nothing bad about having a habit but I would rather have the winning habit rather than the losing one. (lol)
The 'Power of Schmooze Award' is The Award for bloggers who “effortlessly weave their way in and out of the blogosphere, leaving friendly trails and smiles, happily making new friends along the way. They don’t limit their visits to only the rich and successful, but spend some time to say hello to new blogs as well. They are the ones who engage others in meaningful conversations, refusing to let it end at a mere hello - all the while fostering a sense of closeness and friendship".

I pass this award to you. Vist my Photo Hunter's blog to pick it up. (Pass along to 5 others too).
