Another Monday

Saying for the day- Little acts of kindness go a long way.

It’s leave a comment Monday. The day on which all across the internet people leave comments on every blog they visit. I have ended my work of bringing old sayings into the internet age.
Before I begin a new activity let me beg you to leave a comment.
Now I am offering some new sayings that in time could become old sayings.

1. A blog is not a blog without comments

2. A commentless blog is like a dead frog.
3. A good comment makes a mother proud.
4. Winners leave comments-losers read and run

5. Comments count.

I confess I am a comment addict. I need comments.
You can make me happy.
If you’re here from Blog Explosion don’t just wait your time leave a comment.
The only way a blog writer can know you read what was written is by a good comment or even a bad comment.

Every Monday I put aside my dignity and get down on one knee and beg for comments. I am so ashamed.

I will, however, not steal comments from other blogs. I draw the line there.

Please leave a comment.

@@@@ News from Pigeon Falls-The little town in my garage where the trains still run, dragons fly, and people mutter– Everyone stopping in to Nancy’s café this morning wanted to talk about Pastor Moe’s sermon. Members of Last Lutheran were upset. In general they didn’t feel that they were as bad as he made them out to be. One little old lady asks if all the quilts they made didn’t count for something. All those Fridays, all that sewing, and they didn’t even rate a thank you. Others asked about the money they raised for World Hunger and felt that they should get credit for that. Still others said they weren’t going back to church until Pastor Moe left. The Methodists that stopped for coffee seemed almost happy. They made comments like “ That Pastor really gave to the Lutherans. I wish I had been there to hear that.”
Bobsled Maki is limping around this morning. It seems in his latest attempt to ride the barrel he fell off and missed the hay. He seems to have pulled a muscle. Eino says that he hope that means Bobsled has given up his dream to ride a bull in this week’s rodeo. But Bobsled said it will take more than a pulled muscle to stop him.

Today's Link-Letting Me Be ...random wondering and philosophy- The modern city dweller looks at the wonder of camping. Leave a nature loving Dr. John in the comment for an extra chance in Friday's drawing.
The grandsons are gone. The house is quiet. I worked in the garage in the morning. The pool man is back but he won't finish today. The walk in bath tub is still not done. So much activity on the weekend that I took a long nap this afternoon. Now I need a breathing treatment.

Eino and Tommy UK need to get together and figure out how to fix the box of the mysterious Petrovich renter.

Bobsled Maki is determined to ride in the rodeo. If Eino & Tommy UK watch him ride, they could temporarily blow him up like a blueberry if it lookes like he is going to fall off. Then he wont get hurt.

Either that or create some flubber.

No good comment goes un-noticed.

Hope you are having a great day.

Is your pool finished?
Have you gotten the chance to enjoy it yet?

Blessings.

Do you think if the Lutherans start giving more because Pastor Moe shamed them it will please God? I always thought our offerings were to be given with a glad heart. I don't think the Lutherans sound too glad about any of it.

Today is my Birthday. I started the day by thanking God for anotherr chance to live life to the fullest.

Next I called my Mother and thanked her, wishing her a happy birthday. After all, she did all the work and all I did was show up.

After that I came here to discover more about this Dr. John character. So far I think I am going to enjoy having him on my favorites list.

So much to be thankful for and so few ways to express it!

Everyone loves comments. It is easy to hide behind the computer screen.

Dr. John,
Thanks for noticing my writing and sharing it. That's what introduced me to your wonderful blog. I'm delighted to be here!

I've met dear friends in the comment box. I've taking long walks, had long talks, and danced here. We've played games, and discussed deepest thoughts. A blog without comments is an empty house. It's sad and lonely.

I always leave a comment unless I have absolutely nothing to say.

Like when I'm UNWARNEDLY shown pictures of butts. I can see porn. I'm a big girl. But... I need a disclaimer, or something. Prepare me, for the nakie pics. Especially big hairy butts.

*shudder*

I once turned off the comments, so no one could leave a comment. And you know what, it made blogging a whole lot less fun, so I have to agree, a comment a day is for us.......just like an apple.

I was going to say, " a comment a day keeps the Dr. Away..." but that would sound like I wanted to keep you away, so that was all wrong....haha

Oh, I think I am tired, and my brain has less function during times of extreme exhaustion......but even if I don't make it to any other of my blog favorites, I always come here, just makes me feel better.....now I must go and watch the people on CSI Miami cut up somebody.......I like the show, but it always amazes me, that I am usually eating something when it comes on......it kind of takes my appetite away......

Hello. Thank you for your comment on my "brotherhood" post. You might have "missed" my post just before that. There is a picture of a "potential residence" for you.

I wish you a very nice day.

Dr. John -- my comment is late because my feed didn't pick you up today. Have you stopped transmitting? I am so busy with moving if automation doesn't put you in front of me, I almost don't have time to think of you. I wouldn't be here now if you hadn't already shared MY perfect comment at Kat's place.
