News from Pigeon Falls
The little town in my basement where the trains still run, dragons fly, and life is back to normal.
The :Lake of the Loons is almost frozen over except for a large space in the center. Today the whale surfaced through that space. Tommy UK is really getting worried but he has no idea how to keep the lake from freezing and he can’t get anybody to help him. At this point he is so upset that he’s not speaking to Tammy or the other members of the Tommy Club.
Herman has gotten a job at the hardware store. It doesn’t pay much but he’s working. His wife can’t believe that either. This new Herman is just full of surprises.
Our ghost piano has switched from the Nutcracker to variations on "Auld Lang Sye" and of course the shoes dance on.
The dragons flew down main street this morning fighting a brisk headwind. This winter has to be hard on them.
Petrovich, wife, and children are still in Green Bay.
Nancy and Tommy TW will be returning tomorrow from Marquette Mountain. The skiing has been superb.
While Tommy UK has been caught up with the whale Tammy has been trying to find out as much as she can about the man in black. She found a number of people that saw him but she can’t find out where he stayed. But since he was in town three days he had to stay somewhere.

Wrap Up
I did some reading, watched a bit of the "Burn Notice" marathon, and Betty cleaned. I visited seventeen of my links. Now I need a breathing treatment.

Great saying for the day.

The Christmas tree is beautiful. I remember putting icicles on the tree, one at a time. The only icicles that were nice were the heavier icicles with lead.
I guess that means my age is showing.

Have a great day.

Dr.John,I have not been following you and Betty that long, but I do know some of the answers. That is a great idea.

Now that is a tree, the kind I grew up with and very nice.

The man in black had to stay somewhere? I am thankful that the lake has not frozen over. Poor whale.

Blessings to you and Betty.

Oh I LOVE that tree! I did a tinsel tree a few years ago again - just for the fun of it! Took FOREVER!!! Yes! You DO have to put it on ONE STRAND at a time! LOL! I'd never do it on an artificial tree though... you'd never get it all OFF again!

I seem to have missed a few of the false answers... I'll have to go back and have a closer look!

Is there a gazebo? Or a hut? Or a CAVE out near the lake that the dragons could winter in? Then they would have a nice warm place AND be available to pffff into the lake on occasion and warm it up! And we could all toast marshmallows!

I heard that MIB was seen in the Lemon Drop Shop out on old Morgantown Road last Friday... maybe someone out that way knows where he stayed...

I am surprised that Tommy UK and Tammy have not constructed a real life sized ice sculpture version of Main Street Pigeon Falls on the lake in an attempt to lure the dragon to fly over and encourage him to breathe fire to melt the ice for the whale.

Or Herman can say he is going to go out drinking and instead of drinking the Haltvers, he pours the drink into the hole as antifreeze in order to keep the lake from freezing over.

After the winners are announced, you will clue the rest of us in with the correct answers, right? I haven't been with you all year, and would love to know the full extent of your family's exciting adventures.

And you might tell Tommy UK that the whale should be okay. Since they have to come up pretty regularly for air, and they're pretty strong, the whale should be able to break through the ice near the center of the lake before it's gets too thick. ;)
