September

Rabbit Rabbit

Believe it or not we have reached September.
Time to miss the vacations, now a bit of history.
Time for me to look back on August and the changes on this blog.
To begin with I am already tired of the new logo so you can expect it to go when I get around to it.
The moving of all my required stories to a blog of their own I am happy with. It allowed me to both share more of myself on the main blog and to put extra space and time into the stories. The story blog stays.
The Pigeon Falls blog is a toss up. It has a few loyal readers but that may have been all that read it on the main blog. For the moment it stays separate but it might eventually be attached to the main blog again. One interesting thing ( interesting to me) that has happened is that as a separate blog it has become more interactive. The comments of the loyal five have assisted in shaping the story and have even worked the commentators into the story. That was fun.
I miss having the thought of the day on the main blog so it probably will move back.
My relatives and a few bloggers miss the wrap up. In some sense I do as well. So I may experiment with some new wrap ups.
In summary I am happy and unhappy with the changes.
You are welcome to tell me what you think in the comments.

Thom in his benevolence has bestowed on me and half the blog world the following three awards.

I accept them with a smile.

It's always a worry wondering what WORKS in blogland. There honestly aren't enough hours in the day to do everything systematically.

I think I am happy to let you shape the space you share with me since it is an expression of who you are.

I find that I feel guilty when friends have more than one blog and I miss reading them all because I read so many and somehow there aren't enough hours in a day...I will be so happy if Pigeon Falls finds it's way back here! Please?

I agree with Ricky --

And don't matter what works, it's an expression of you -- who you are. That's all that matters.

I just want the evening wrap up back... believe it or not, I actually LIKE knowing how well you breathed each day! (or didn't) And any other little tidbits you care to share.

I also miss the quote in the main blog. I don't always take the time to check on it in the other blog. But your blog changes are like my perennial garden. Some plants barely grow for a few years, but I've moved them to another side of the house and they thrive.

How is your upside down tomato doing? Mine is a semi disappointment. The good things is that the deer won't get the tomatoes this year. But I still don't have even a hint of red on the tomatoes. But all the thick clouds this summer may be the cause of that. On Saturday, when I went to water it, the plant holder I had hung it from bent, then broke from the weight.

I am a fairly new reader Dr. John but I have no doubt that whatever you decide to put your heart into will be a treasure. I feel blessed to have found your blog!

Good luck with the new endeavor!

God bless you!

This isn't the post I was intending to comment on but when I clicked into the one about your getting your card and that you now exist, I got a message that your blog didn't exist. (Seriously, that did happen to me and I thought it was rather ironic considering the topic was about your non-existence!)
Glad to hear you got this all taken care of though.

I recently combined two blogs and I glad I did as it is hard enough to keep up with one. Whatever works for you and your time constraints!

If you've got a very interactive blog that is bringing you joy, keep it :-)

Does it matter what works and doesn't work in blogland in the end?

As long as you are happy. When you find that space - then that is what matters.

You know you'd say the same thing to me!

I've changed back to my old template last night. I missed looking at the Ocean from where my Aunt Edith lived.

Glad that you are happy with some of the changes you made, Mum always used to tell me "A Change is a Good as a Rest".

Whatever you decide to do Dr John with your blog, your friends will always come for a visit,

A Blessed Day is wished for you and Betty. I hope Pennie is feeling better.

Rabbit rabbit (Good Luck). I think you just need to do what you want to do with your blog. As long as you are happy that's what counts. You are welcome for the awards. I hope you saw yesterday's Quiz...I did mention you and Betty :)

You should do what you want and not ask the others ! I had one blog then with my travels and the cats and the photos it became overloaded. Now I have one for everything, one for photos only, one for cat lovers and one where I describe my travelling. So people have the choice what they want to read. Not everybody is interested in cats or photos only and a travel post with all the pictures would take too much space on my main blog. So it is free to my blogfriends or visitors to go wherever they like. Anyway I suppose people only read what they want to read and what is interesting for them.

I am with Gattina! This is one place that I started doing just what I WANTED to do!
If I could think as creativly as you I would have more than one also! You can probably meet more and more different folks that way too!

I loved reading the wrap ups too. And today's saying. I'm glad you brought them back. Pigeon Falls is hard for me, I haven't followed from the begionning and then it's hard to get into. Congratulations on the awards. Much deserved.
